I find snowy egrets one of the most elegant wading birds you will see on the coast. They are dainty and have beautiful plumes of feathers during the breeding season. As elegant as they are, they are actually quite comical to watch feed! They use their bright yellow feet to stir up bait in the shallows and will frantically flick their wings while hopping and darting about in an effort to snag a meal.

This fine art print is a reproduction of my original acrylic painting.
