Bonefish, whose scientific name (albula vulpes) literally translates to 'white fox', are a popular species to target for fly fisherman in the tropical waters of the Caribbean and south Florida. Bonefish make the shallow flats around mangrove coastlines and islands their home. They cruise these flats in schools, using their snouts to root out crustaceans, mollusks, and invertebrates to eat. This bonefish art print is an archival quality print of my original watercolor painting.
